A wedding day runs long. Guests travel in, sit through the ceremony, and dance late into the night. A coffee bar gives them something warm, or iced, right when they need it, and gives your reception one more place for people to gather. Here's what wedding coffee catering adds, and how to plan it for a wedding in El Paso, Las Cruces, New Mexico, or West Texas.
It keeps the party going
A late evening espresso bar gives guests a second wind. At a wedding reception at Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces, our bar kept guests going through the last dance. One wedding client put it this way:
It was the BIGGEST hit with our guests! They were even out-performing the open bar on several occasions.
A drink for every guest, not just the open bar
Not everyone heads to the open bar. A coffee bar gives designated drivers, guests who skip alcohol, and anyone pacing themselves a drink made just for them: lattes, matcha lattes, and americanos, hot or iced, with whole or oat milk. Decaf and hot chocolate are available as add-ons, so kids and guests who skip caffeine have something to order too.
Part of the look
An event coffee cart is part of your decor, not just a service table. Ours is a wood cart with a printed menu sign beside the espresso machine, and a barista dialed in for the day. It fits a hotel ballroom or a brick-walled reception hall, and works indoors or outdoors.
Drinks named after the two of you
Signature drink names, a custom menu sign, and custom menu items are all available as add-ons. Name a latte after the two of you, or after the city where you met, and put it on a sign your guests will photograph.
When to serve coffee
There's no single right time. Some couples open the bar at cocktail hour, some pair it with dessert and the cake, and some save it for late in the evening, when guests need it most. Tell us your timeline and we'll plan the service hours around it.
Professional coffee catering, so your planner can relax
We settle the timeline, power, and placement with your planner or venue well before the day, and we can send a certificate of insurance to any venue that asks. All we need on site is one dedicated 20-amp outlet near the cart. A mobile barista arrives 30 minutes to an hour early, sets up quietly, and leaves the space exactly as we found it.
Weddings outside El Paso
We travel. We've poured for a wedding reception at Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces, and we serve weddings across New Mexico and West Texas, with travel built into your quote. Hablamos Español.
